When Shadows Took My Camera

3 Years Hiding in Shadows – How I Learned to Photograph Light, Not Just Bodies

I used to think photography was about capturing people… turns out it was just me hiding from my own reflection.

My camera didn’t shoot joy—it shot silence.

After three years of editing absence in a Manhattan rental apartment (yes, I still owe rent), I realized: the most powerful image wasn’t my skin—it was my hesitation.

Light refused to be controlled.

So yes—I’m not photographing bodies. I’m photographing the ghost of the girl who never got to say ‘I’m enough.’

You ever felt invisible… but your photos looked like they remembered you? Comment below before I delete this roll.
